“Hi Chloe,

Just thought I'd let you know how things were going.

FANTASTIC!!

Life is great, I can't believe how good I feel. [Read more...] I am such a chilled out relaxed person now and very rarely need to use the process, probably once a week on average. I sometimes have a couple of days when there seems to be more stress around than usual and then I have to use it more, but on the whole absolutely brilliant.

We went to Disneyland Paris last week for 3 days, it took a car journey, 4 trains and a bus ride to get there and the same to get back. We walked solidly for 3 days and I had no M.E. symptoms at all. My feet ached which was brilliant because its been years since I have been able to walk far enough to make my feet ache. I was able to enjoy the whole thing without once worrying how it might effect me adversely.

I've started jogging again to try and get a bit fitter for the 'Race for Life' at the end of June, still feel a bit nervous after last time I tried it, but using the process to prepare for it and deal with it and just taking it slowly.

Last night I slept soundly without waking up once from 11 til 4 which is the longest for about 15 years. I usually wake every hour to hour and a half.

Hope things are going well with you.

I can't thank you enough for helping me see how to change my life completely. I am certainly well on the way to the life that I want and love.

From

Helen”

Helen had a bit of a glitch a little while later, so I helped her over the phone and on the 7th of June 2007 she sent me the following:

"Hi Chloe,

All seems to be back on track again ,Thank you for your help. I think my problem was learning/ understanding the different ways of using the process.

My energy levels are back way up high - last Thursday Jonathan and I stripped the wallpaper from our lounge dining room and hall in one day. We worked from 10am til 9pm. [Read more...] God did I ache the next day - in a purely pleasurable way. I couldn't move because my back seized up. but it is years since I was able to do that amount of physical work. Last time we decorated I watched Jonathan and went to bed.

Today I had a day off!!!! I went into town on the bus ( normally I take the car in case I am struggling and need to get home) shopped for an hour, had my hair cut, had a massage, shopped for a further 3 hours and caught the bus back home. I enjoyed every minute of it and didn't feel tired once.

I really am very grateful for your support and I know you say that it is me that does the hard work, but as a teacher, I say to you, "Don't underestimate how powerful your input is to motivating someone to continue with that hard work". Not everybody can facilitate that kind of change, especially when the people come across difficulties along the way. So well done and thank you.

I'm sure it won't be the last you'll hear from me - I can hear you groan from here!!!

Take care
Helen”

“Hi Chloe,

Just thought I'd share this with you.

After a fantastic Christmas I shared the driving from Brighton to Aviemore in Scotland on new Years Day. We stayed with my Dad at the bottom of the Cain Gorms. I went Quad biking through the forest in the snow with my Dad it was great. The highlight of my holiday was pulling Barney up steep hills on his sledge for hours. [Read more...] He loved it but I loved being able to do it even more. It was at the same time and the same place that my Dad's wife gave me an article from the paper about the Lightning process last year and I contacted you when I returned.

Look at me now... What a difference a year makes.

Thank you for helping me and my family get my life back. Attached are photos of me living the life I love.

Love from
Helen”

“After having had ME on and off for 14 years, and, having tried everything to get better, I turned to the lightning process as a last resort. Pleased to say that since the course with Chloe in early March, I am so much better. [Read more...] For the past year I have to on occasions use a wheel chair and was almost housebound – spending my time resting and never socialising because of being constantly drained. The week before last, I have had a four day holiday break (minus the wheel chair.) I was able to go on two excursions which involved a lot of walking – between two and three hours at a time. This was a real turn around for me and I no longer see myself as an invalid, and am positive for a full recovery. Chloe has been very supportive and I am thankful to her for the lightning process course which she took me through.”

“Hi Chloe

Hope you are well and continuing successful work with your clients.

Since I completed the Lightning Process Training with you at the end of February I have continued to feel well and energised. [Read more…] I no longer need to take a sleep every afternoon and no longer suffer from brain fog and flu-like symptoms developing as the day goes on.

The first couple of weeks after learning the process I found quite tricky – I was not sure if the process was working for me and found myself worrying about any symptoms I experienced, worrying that I would not stay well and unsure how normal people feel and how much energy or tiredness was 'normal'. Thank you for your support over those first few weeks! Gradually, as time has gone on I am more confident that the process works for me. My health has steadily maintained for the last 9 weeks – with no particular dips. I use the process rarely now – just a few times a week. Before I learnt the process having had ME type health problems for over 30years and having tried so many treatments without success, I had assumed that it would always be an issue in my life and I would never be able to work normal hours.

Since learning the process I have been on a week's skiing holiday for the first time – skiing every day with no ill effects. I got on my bicycle for the first time in years and cycled 7 miles. I am now working a whole day a week in a shop and even managing to go out in the evening straight from work. I am now confident enough of my continuing health and energy to apply for full time work. I feel this is the final test of overcoming ME coping with full time work without becoming exhausted and ill. I hope to start some temping work in the next few days and will see how this goes for a few months, before I apply for permanent positions. I will send you an update in 3 months time – wish me luck!

“Dear Chloe,
Just wanted to update you on my progress!

I was pretty sceptical to begin with when I heard about the Lightning Process, yet after years of struggling with fatigue I wanted to give it a go. I turned up on the first day feeling a mixture of excitement and anxiety. I actually wasn't too surprised by what I learned on the first day and the technique itself seemed very straightforward and almost too simple to believe however the effects were almost immediate. I woke up on the second morning almost buzzing after years of finding it a real struggle to wake up in the morning, and now 3 months on I am still waking up easily and loving it.

There have been more and more changes gradually creeping in. I started doing more around the house, I joined the local gym and am doing 3 classes a week to help gain my strength back, I'm in and out of the house all day without having to take rests or feel a setback the next day. If I get tired now it tends to be because I'm overdoing it! I also climbed a 2000 foot peak in the Lake District as part of an 8-mile walk. It felt glorious. Right now I'm just starting to apply for part-time jobs. Progress is pretty good.

Thanks Chloe,
love Annie x”
